Why is my Vinted money pending, and when will it reach my bank?
Updated 6 November 2026.
Short answer: money stays pending until the buyer confirms the item, or two days after delivery if they raise no problem. It then moves to your Vinted balance, and you can withdraw it to your bank.
The three steps
- Pending. The buyer has paid, but Vinted holds the money while you post the item and it is delivered.
- In your Vinted balance. When the buyer taps that everything is OK, or two days pass after delivery with no issue reported, the money becomes available.
- In your bank. You withdraw from your balance. Bank transfers usually take a few working days to arrive.
What holds money up
- The item has not been posted yet, or tracking has not updated.
- The buyer has reported a problem. The money is held until it is sorted out.
- Your bank details or identity checks are not finished in Vinted.
Keep track of what is where
With lots of sales, it is easy to lose track of which money is still pending, which is in your balance and what has actually reached your bank. Sidetally sorts every sale into those three boxes so you can see your totals at a glance.
Check your own Vinted sales. Sidetally is free: sync your sales and see what is on its way, what is in your bank, and whether you owe tax.
