Sidetally

Privacy

Last updated 6 November 2026. In short: no adverts, no tracking, nothing sold. Your sales stay in your browser unless you sign up.

Who we are

Sidetally is a free tool for Vinted sellers in the UK, made by nitech. We are the data controller for the account data described below. Contact: hello@sidetally.space.

Without an account

Your sales, tax answers and listing totals are saved only in your own browser (local storage). We never receive them. Screenshots and pasted text are read on your device and are not uploaded.

With an account

• Your email address, to send you sign-in links.
• Your saved sales and tax answers, so they are there on any device. Stored with Vercel in London, under a scrambled key made from your email.
• One-time sign-in links, which run out after 15 minutes and are deleted when used.

We use these only to run your account. The legal basis is providing the service you asked for (contract). We keep them until you delete them.

Sync from Vinted

The sync bookmark runs in your own browser while you are logged into Vinted. It reads your sold orders, balance and listings from Vinted and hands them to this page. Sidetally never sees or stores your Vinted password.

Cookies

If you sign in, we set one cookie, st, that keeps you signed in for up to a year. It is strictly necessary, so it needs no consent. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

Who else handles data

• Vercel hosts the site and stores account data (London).
• Resend sends sign-in emails (Ireland).
• Fonts load from Fontshare, and the screenshot reader loads from jsDelivr. They see your IP address, as any website does.

Some of these companies are based in the US. Transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.

Your rights

You can see, correct, download or delete your data at any time. Delete all my data (under Backup and delete) erases your sales from your device and your account straight away. To delete your account entirely, or for any other request, email hello@sidetally.space. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Age

Sidetally is for people aged 18 and over, the same as Vinted.
